Sally, Chip, and Sonic on WordPlay by dth1971 Sally, Chip, and Sonic on WordPlay by dth1971
This is another Sonic related game show drawing by me: This time featuring Chip (has he appeared in any Sonic games? He has appeared in the former Archie soon IDW Sonic comic books) along with Sally Acorn and Sonic the Hedgeog as the celebrities on the 1986-1987 game show WordPlay.

Who has the right definition to a word known in the Sonic Sat AM episode "Heads or Tails"?

WordPlay, created by Rick Ambrose, Fielder-Berlin, and Scotti Bros., is part of the game show library owned by Fremantle Media (which following a BUZZR Lost and Found week airing the unaired WordPlay pilot and first aired WordPlay episode BUZZR aired the next 2 WordPlay episodes on September 18-19, 2017 before pulling it on September 20, 2017 for some dispute regarding the show with BUZZR replacing it as of that day with Match Game 1973 episodes as part of BUZZR's prime time lineup with no word on when the show will return indefinately, even though this game show has never aired on TV after its cancelation after about 3 decades - not even on GSN)

Speaking of Wordplay, these game shows never got a chance to get rerun on GSN:

And BUZZR just acquired rerun rights to the 2014-2017 Celebrity Name Game game show to air Friday nights starting Feb. 9, 2018 in a block with Temptation: The New Sale of the Century (YIKES!) and Richard Karn Family Feud. Celebrity Name Game is another game show that GSN doesn't want to acquire for reruns.

This reminds me of an old TV show back in the 60's called "Call My Bluff". A team of contestants would give a word and each contestant would each have a definition and the contestants of the other team has to guess which is the correct definition. In this pic, Sally has the correct definition.

Of course, Sally knows about COTTERPINS - if they are made of wood, they break!

Too bad there's no CALL MY BLUFF episode in the Fremantle Media game show library unless a print surfaces someday.

I do remember that it was from NBC.

Remember: A number of old game shows not preserved by NBC were wiped/destroyed/lost save for selected episodes by collectors on the TV trading circuit (Are a couple Johnny Carson Tonight Show episodes missing?)
